Julia's Story
HI, there! By far, the best thing I have ever done has been becoming a momther, at the age of 36. My son is now an amazing seven year old. We live in Raleigh with my husband, who's a very talented and slightly nutty singer and musician. My nickname for hubby is "weird cat."
We are usually the penultimate homebodies; we like to read, watch good movies, see live mujsic and dance, cook, do yoga, etc. The guys are into the martial arts (hubby-kung fu and son-taekwondo). We...Expand for more
love to travel when time permits. I am hoping our next trip will be a visit to New York this winter.
As far as professional life, I graduated from college and grad school at NC State University. I have been teaching communications courses at State since 1992. I also teach at Wake Tech and NC Central and occasionally do work as a full-figured model. Before getting the teaching bug, I rant a website development company and, prior to that, worked as a professional writer.
